At only 32, Tommy Jones holds 13 career titles. With the distinction of the most successful bowler on television, Jones is known for performing well under pressure, with a success rate of over 80%. Tommy initially gained recognition by being the first youth ever to bowl a perfect game in the Junior World Youth games in Hong Kong in 1996. Tommy took home PBA Rookie of the Year honors in 2002.
Of Note: Jones has become one of only two players in PBA History to win both Rookie of the Year and Player of the Year. He is ranked #30 of the 50 Great Players in PBA History. In 2010-11, Jones had four top 10 finishes including third in Lumber Liquidators U.S. Open and Pepsi Viper Championship, fourth in Earl Anthony Memorial and seventh in Dick Weber PBA Playoffs. Tommy Jones ranked eighth in average (219.03) and 16th in earnings ($46,810).
Personal: Tommy, nicknamed “TJ”, was a standout pitcher and shortstop on his high school baseball team. He currently lives in Simpsonville, SC. In his downtime, Tommy likes to play golf and watch the Duke Blue Devils.
